Hectic rhythm of urban life makes urban dwellers' quiet comtemplation in nature imposible. Tea house vending machine is a multi-sensatioal instalation in the form of an artistic designed vending machine. It delivers instant tranquility when user chooses from green tea, flower tea or black tea. Each of them is a short abstract visual, acoustic, and olfactory experience.

This project exploits the conflict intentionally and ironically to raise people’s awareness of their disconnection to nature, and to promote the emergence of quite contemplation in nature in their hectic everyday urban life.
